They did;

'Somebody wearing a backpack or a hoodie or whatever the video, it's hard to tell, in a sunny hot day that person will stand out.

Couldn't agree more. A bizarre experience while fishing at the Salt River in my early 20s was actually what inspired me get my CCW. Been carrying ever since.

Recently at Gilbert Riparian Park with family. Walking back to the car, a police car with siren on pulled into the parking lot. I thought that's interesting that they had the siren for a traffic stop, but didn't think much of it. We then passed a group that was fishing and one of them looked panicked asking "they coming? Which way?" Then ran off. 6 more police cars came racing into the library parking lot and officers get out with carbines locked & loaded and asking if anyone had seen a person matching the description of the person we'd just seen run off. I looked at my wife and could tell she thought the same as me. Don't know, don't care. We just got in the car and left asap.

BTW. My G26 was there, as usual.

Yep, always carry something when hiking or camping.

But always remember the story of Harold Fish. Even though he was eventually exonerated and his case was instrumental in shifting the burden of proof that one is not acting in self defense to the prosecution (as opposed to the defendant having to prove that a self defense shooting was, in fact, self defense), he spent years in prison and died of cancer in 2012 leaving his family to struggle with $700,000 in criminal defense debt.

He could have just walked away after that self defense shooting and nobody would have been the wiser.

I'm not sure that I recall Harold Fish. I just know that I prefer to carry everywhere I possibly can.

I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Also I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

They nabbed the character doing the strut, so we will see what they did not want to say.

Poor girl was stabbed. Probably a repeat offender since it seems his DNA was on file

Arizona esthetician, 29, was 'stabbed multiple times' on hiking trail https://mol.im/a/12049391 via https://dailym.ai/android

America has lost the plot.

The probable cause affidavit also stated that during his interview, he spoke about 'growing up as a Christian, and his internal struggle with his own sexuality.'

It added: 'Zion was concerned about the salvation of his soul due to his thoughts'.

He also identified himself as being the man in the footage, before telling officers he recognized Lauren from the news and 'wanted to look like her'.

I don't think that was the issue.

I'm not sure if it was or not. I'm more replying to the title.

She was....
But she did not adhere to the "3A's"
Aware, Alert And Have A Tool
"Packing" is only a part of the solution.
