Like I said .. I rarely take custom orders anymore but .. I took this one from one of our own and just finished it a couple days ago.
Medium brown faceplate with some twisted somewhat coarse dark brown stitching on a dark brown body with "cigar" stitching. Manufacturer name.
All sewn by hand with an awl on a stitching pony. The edges are sanded and burnished with a horn before getting sealed. I never ever use edge paint.
and finally its sealed with acrylic using an airbrush.
The gentleman was very kind and had included a tip w his payment but I dont feel comfortable taking more than I quoted so instead of returning the difference .. I made a matching mag pouch. Cant wait for him to see it in person.
Some of the pix are at the same angle but with the light coming from different directions. The dark brown has wonderful red highlights in it that really look nice when the light hits it.
