The leftists are piling on.
I feel like a Jew in Germany in 1934.

No more swooshes or Levis for me.

"Something's happening here. What it is ain't exactly clear. There's a man with a gun over there. Telling me I got to beware...."

Code:
"We can’t insulate ourselves from every threat," Bergh wrote. [highlight=yellow]"We can’t 'harden' every place we gather — whether it be our schools, workplaces, shops, churches, or entertainment venues[/highlight]. But we can take common-sense, measurable steps — like criminal background checks on all gun sales — that will save lives."

Well, actually we can harden every place we gather, you hockey puck. If there were more good guys with guns, all those sites would be "hardened," wouldn't they? It's like trying to get more people trained in CPR -- the more CPR-trained people there are, the higher the likelihood that lives can be saved. How about donating some money for CCW training classes, to increase the likelihood that a good person with a gun will be there to stop a bad person with a gun?

And how would criminal background checks on all gun sales have helped one damn bit at Sandy Hook or Parkland High or at the video game competition? What is so common sense about that, numbnuts?

This would have been better

Don't have either of those in my closet as it is.

Diddo,... not in many, many years! And, obviously not any time soon!

I am a firm believer in voting with my dollars!

These numbskulls in the corporations may eventually figure it out. They'll finally understand its not good to alienate parts of your customer base who are actual consumers that actually spend money just to appease a small fraction of people who likely don't.

Always been a Brooks or New Balance shoes kind of guy. As for jeans it has always been Wrangler jeans and I am happy to say I have never owned anything with a Levis label on it. I have always left pants with buttons for the queer crowd and Levis brand loves the gays. Nike has always promoted the sports thugs so that has been a easy choice for me as well.

one of my daughters who frequents all the media sites tells me it all the hulabaloo on nike and all the negative comments.

one i liked was. a nike rep said the younger generation would still buytheir products, and a older generation made this comment.

How stupid are they, who do you think gives the younger generation 200 bucks to buy their products, hehehe, you can bet the older gens. won;t and with the younger ones not wanting to work for a living, well ..................................let the market strategists figure that one out.

I have not worn a pair of sneakers since high school , and have never owned a pair of Nike's.
I have never owned a pair of Levi's either.
I have family that work for Lee/Wrangler and I support them. I wear Wranglers.
So neither Nike or Levi has ever got a single penny from me and never will.

I was a New Balance guy when I wore running shoes and have been a Wrangler guy for as long as I can remember.

Never owned anything from Nike or Levis.

The posts above have proved that Levis and Nike made a good business decision. So far, everybody has posted "I have never used their products and I was unlikely to ever use their products." Nobody has posted "I have bought many of their products in the past, and I was planning on buying more, but I have changed my mind now."

They did their focus group studies, and determined that they would not lose any sales by alienating people who were not going to but their products anyway.

Well, not everyone... I wore out many pairs of Levi's when I was a kid, in HS wearing Big Bells, denim shirts, fleeced denim jacket & later wearing Boot-cut denims & 501s. That having been said I have not worn Levi's for a couple decades & you can be confident that will not change.

Levi Strauss is headquartered in San Francisco - that should tell you all you need to know. They have strayed drastically from the days when the primary customers were cowboys, railroad workers & lumberjacks. Anymore they cater to the hip, sheik & trendy. Some of their other brands not to buy include Dockers & Denizen. If you wish to email them to let them know what a shitty decision they have made, here is the address... [email protected]

I just offered to my half dozen employees, if they would throw away anything related to either one that they use at work, i will replace with a equal product, so far all have agreed, gonna cost me a bit, but screw these a holes, i always speak with my $, and let them know, if only i had more employees, hehe, we'd do a video of burning their shiat.
I hate co's that think they can throw their shiat into politics, it does not belong there much as i think entertainers and so called athletes need to keep their traps shut, and do waht they do, entertain,

screw'm call,

See how long Nike can keep it going. Heard they lost 3.9 billion dollars and people are looking elsewhere. One college has dropped them, not a big school but still good. Hope people remember this and doesn’t forget like normal
