could it also be an excuse to collect DNA from the general population?
Pretty soon everyone will be in their genome dB...
 
It can be used as evidence in crime scenes and if you aren't a criminal but have a relative who is, they can use your DNA to find your relative.

Possible.. but it takes a totally different test. The swab they take from you to do the COVID19 test is consumed in the process.
 
How often does a person need to be tested........to what end.
Every time you go out in public, stop to get gas, pick up takeout etc.

No kidding! My thoughts exactly. You might not have it today and test OK, but what if you get it tomorrow. You'd need to be tested again.
 
It's even worse than that. You can be tested and pick it up 5 minutes later.

Curious when the military started DNA everybody (year escapes me) , to make ID easier. Add in those people who pay money to have their family history read, it is growing in many ways, database I mean. An arrest equals dna test true?
 
These kinds of things often start with either the military or with prisoners... the public usually doesn't get upset when it becomes mandatory with these groups... then after a few years it is rolled out for other groups until one day it is just another accepted thing to deal with...

Remember when they implemented 55mph on federal interstates and if a state didn't go along the feds cut their funding?

Remember when the seat belt law went into effect for the driver only... and they said it would only be a secondary ticket if the driver got stopped for something else?

Remember the original GCA of 68?...
 
Never in the history of the modern world has the US economy been shut down due to a severe flu or virus. Nor the economies of the world.

This has nothing to do with the virus it is about the election. Democrat party is toast if trump gets re elected and they know it. Sad that it has taken 4 years of Trump for the ball to start rolling but with Flynn getting off I things are going to get ugly for democrats
