So there I was, having lunch at Jack In The Box, and decided to check in on arizonashooting.org on my iPhone. Website blocked, because it has to do with firearms, and firearms him bad. Tried NRA.org. Blocked.

What a clever way to circumvent the First Amendment!

Experienced this at an auto dealer while waiting for car to be repaired. Was attempting to look at the status of a Brownell's order on my phone, connected to their wireless. Immediate block with message of "Inappropriate Material".

Their house, their rules. Don't use their WiFi and life will be good.

Having said that, I use other people's WiFi all the time and haven't encountered this problem...……..yet. Not even in Hawaii which is about as liberal as it gets.

Just use cellular data, F them.

It's a lot easier to bitch about it, though.

Don't like it? Let management know. If they insist, find another business to patronize.

Yep I have ran into this several times as well. Its dumb but its like was said their house their rules when it comes to limitations on others networks. I just swtich to cell data for the workaround

What is more concerning is the fact the banks want to dictate who they are loaning money to to fit their agenda

The article references more disconcerting news than blocking websites on a company's wifi. My major concern, as the article mentions, are the banks that are creating de-facto gun restrictions like the following which was in the article:

"Citigroup is setting restrictions on the sale of firearms by its business customers, making it the first Wall Street bank to take a stance in the divisive nationwide gun control debate"

That's my concern as some banks are starting to and will continue to cut off banking services to firearms related businesses. If its a lawful business the banks shouldn't deny services but it seems to be coming more commonplace.

well now isn't that discrimination as they are a federally insured entity,

Bingo. That's exactly what's going on. What they believe is "virtue" signaling is actually "hate" signaling. They hate the NRA; they hate guns; they hate gun owners; they hate us.

Imagine a bank that refused to lend to blacks or Hispanics, or Jews or Christians or Muslims, or Republicans or Democrats. They couldn't get away with saying, "Our house, our rules. Don't like our segregated lunch counter? Go find some other place to have lunch." Imagine a bank that refused to lend to Chick-Fil-A or allow their credit cards to be used at Chick-Fil-A because the founder believes that homosexuals should not marry. Imagine a fast-food restaurant that blocked CNN and Black Lives Matter websites. The Schumer would hit the fan.

Once you start messing with people's rights, "Our house, our rules" doesn't cut it. Owning guns and carrying guns are Second Amendment rights. Reading and talking about owning and carrying guns are First Amendment rights.

Since this is the new look for suppressing your gun rights, Its going to get worse. Getting close to the day that your bank will not allow you to use a credit card to purchase any gun associated item, your ISP will ban all web access to any gun website, your Doctor won't treat you because you like guns, your grocery store ..... I can think of alot more.

The battle has just begun.

Liberalism is a Incurable Disease
