Action Camera?

Action Camera or just cellphone? Who has an Action Cam they can recommend over just using a cellphone? I think I would prefer an action camera over my phone, since I don't want the phone to get damaged, but there are so many action cams to choose from these days... :?:

I've had decent luck with the cheapo "faux pro" cameras that they sell at Fry's Electronics for like $20-30. Good enough for me. I've got an extra NIB that I could trade you for something if you like.

Costco has them for sale. Though review aren't thriving but warranty are amazing.

I'd think it'll be good use for mild action but I'm sure quality isn't great for anything more than that. GoPro always prevail.

Find a GoPro on Craigslist...there are lots of them. It's very difficult to beat a GoPro.

Which of the used GoPros are the best? When did the WiFi/Bluetooth start?

I have a Hero, but it"s a dinosaur comparatively.

They are up to the Hero 8 now, so even the Hero 7's will be considerably cheaper on Craigslist.

Just browsed CL, and there are a several dozen adds for less than $200 with all kinds of accessories. If you just want video, the Hero 4 will meet your needs.

I think the wi-fi/bluetooth started with the Hero 3+.
