It has been interesting to watch how the brick and mortar stores translated into online sales, I was able to snag 124gr 9mm for 16c a round until mid March... then the craze happened. Keep looking on the emails and ammo search engines .
It appears that distributors and some manufacturers are jacking up prices as well. If you are looking for ammo shipped right now I just went to my go to online site sgammo.com and they have some 9mm in stock for $246/1000. That is about $40 more than their normal price, but they have consistently had some of the best prices day to day.
there was a 15 to 20 % price increase planned long before the crisis came along. as i h ave not purchased factory ammo in quite some time it for me would be hard to determine what price was prior to and what i can reload for.
just saying

It’s really sad that these prices are considered deals when just a month or so ago it was about 100 bucks cheaper per 1k rounds. Seemed like the going rate before all the panic buying was 160-180 per 1k rounds.
UNAmmo has plenty in stock for $279/1000 which is down from $350. It's all relative especially when people can't get it. I feel alot better knowing I have plenty and I don't have to wait in line. You know what they say, if it makes you feel good. Besides when I shoot it all, who will know the difference in price.
