80% AR lower jig

What type of jigs do you guys use? It seems like the router jigs make it easier, but then I would have to get a router as well.
Let me know your thoughts.

Haven't tried the router jugs but have worked on one with a drill press. Wasn't hard. Just work it slow and have the right bits. Do your best to make sure your holes are straight

I can get a done completed lower coated Anderson here in town with numbers for $35 and they go fast. The last 80% I saw last was like $60 or $80. If it's for the fun of machining it yourself ok that cool.

I've done a few with the original 5D Tactical set up. Super easy. I got the router used for like $60. Helped my neighbor with one, my coworker has the stuff doing one right now...

Two I built out. Top one is a 20" 6.5 Grendel, bottom one is a 16" 5.56. These are both billets from 80% arms. I like the look of the billets better than the forged ones, but I have a hand full of those too.

I know that from a price standpoint you can get finished lowers cheaper, but I have always built stuff from scratch when I can. It's the satisfaction of making something yourself that I enjoy.

Thanks. It really only takes about 30-45 minutes to do the machining. It takes me longer to set up/tear down the table stuff in my driveway than to machine it.

I do it in the drive because it make a huge mess with shavings, and I can just blow it into the grass.

80% arms has their billet raw blems on sale for $50. The raw one I posted earlier was a blem...I blem I couldn't find.

I used the 5D kit with the AR10 adapter. Gonna be selling both pretty soon since I have no interest in milling out another lower.

Pretty easy and straight forward enough. The company had a couple different videos with clear instructions. It's also a pretty fun learning experience.

I don't mind, as long as you know you need the AR15 jig kit as the 10 kit uses parts from it.
