My favorite practice load with 158gr LSWC Powder Coated Boolit is 2.3 gr of Trail Boss. I shoot these in my 3” S&W Model 10-6 DAO and they hit right to POA at 15 yards. They are light shooting and you can shoot them all day. These work great for practicing double taps and emptying the cylinder.

Sorry, my other load is 2.9gr of Titegroup. A little snappier but still not stinging.

I’d try between 4.6 and 4.8 of the Unique. I use TG for pretty much any plinking load anymore, but 4.6 of Unique behind a 158 LSWC worked for several years. Enough oomph to get there, but a very easy shooting load in my 686.

I've been rolling 3.1 -3.5 of hp 38. Used to load them a good deal hotter but this work for both the wife and I and are soft shooters depending on the gun.

The 28 it's like a bb gun but even through a short SP 101 the work great.

I developed some subsonic loads for my suppressed Marlin CST using a coated 158 grainer and HP38, which is exactly the same as Win231.

In my 16 inch carbine, they clocked at 850 fps,...BUT,...in my 4in. S&W 686, they were only plodding along at 600 fps.

That load is 3.1 grains.

i've a gaggle of CFE, so gonna roll some different loads with it, and give'm a go, have about 8k of 158's that need to be ready for the so called insurrection, yeah right,
will advise

happy days

4 grains of unique under a 158DEWC are fun.

Then a 148 over some trailboss for a good time.
