2A description error

To my fellow AZCDLers regarding the latest email calling for signatures on a 2A description error.
The error seems to be in a description of the second amendment on a webpage.
It’s not as if there is a bill to change or rescind the second amendment.
What’s the big deal with a description error? Many people describe things wrong regarding our rights every day.
What am I missing here?

Because manipulation can be subtle, and that is a major difference. The web page referenced is:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/about-the-white-house/the-constitution/

and if you'll notice, the description of the rest of the amendments in the Bill of Rights are all stated as "prohibits the government from..."..The Second is the only "gives" so I believe that to be intentional.

I agree Gatsby. The Bill Of Rights doesn't "give" you any rights, it merely enumerates them.

So an assumption that 2A is given is also an assumption that it can be taken away.

Facing this recorded FACT, the Deep State is faced with the realization that as long as people know where their Rights truly come from, they can never claim the authority to take them away. Hence the attacks on the first amendment,... hence the attack on organized religion,... hence the attack on the Creator that endowed our inalienable Natural Human Rights, upon ALL HUMANS!!!

I will definitely put my signature on there from the link. AZCDL makes it wuite easy to make your voice heard, I think their mere yearly fee is a bargain.
Even though I see this as a description, I see the word games going on here, and the ramifications they can have.
