16 inch free float 556 upper

Just picked up a M&P 15 complete lower with magpul stock and grip for a good price. Looking for recommendations for a 16 inch complete free float upper that won't break my bank ( I know ) Looking around pistol uppers are plentiful, having a hard time finding the 16 upper for a decent price.

"Decent price" will be entirely subjective.

BCM has some 16" uppers in stock. Around $700 w/o BCG or CH. A bit pricy, yes.. but, buy once cry once.

Depends on what you're gonna do with it though.

I got a no frills pof piston complete upper a while back I like. Not sure they do those anymore however. It’s a non billet mid length upper, magpul forend. Might be worth looking into.

However for a few bucks more you can get an Areo Blem if you do the notify when in stock. They hit like every 2 weeks

+1 for Adam’s Arms. And if you check their blem section you can usually find some deals. I bought a 16” blem upper from them a couple years ago and the only spot I could find was a discoloration about the size of a fly inside the upper where the bcg runs. Took ma a few cleanings to find it. Great quality!
