I'm about to throw the blanket on the pool as well. Won't take long for it to heat to temps I like.

Flash, you running a heater or a blanket?

A blanket, but I keep it on all winter mainly to keep crud out of it. When the pool hits around 75, I take the blanket off, swim, and put it back on. Gets it up to temp and keeps it there in case of a cold snap.

When the pool hits around 82 or so, I take it off and leave it outside until the pool hits 86 or 87, then fold it and put it in the garage for the summer.

A hekkuva lot cheaper than a pool heater and my blankets last over 5 years, but just barely.

This has been one of the coldest winters here in Phoenix that I can remember. Hopefully that equates to a cooler summer...

...but I doubt it.

Everyone I talk to says they can't remember a colder winter and I agree.

Bring on 110 degrees, I've had all the cold I can stand.
