Well, I gave that up years ago once it finally struck me how dangerous it was. However, I never did understand drivers who seem to be so put out by a bicycle and rider on the road? Especially a-holes who feel the need to get as close as possible to rider, honk their horns, or "roll coal" in...

No, I live in Prescott. I hear you about not healing fast (I'm 54), but I stay within my limits, understanding the risks. I will never stop unless I am forced to / physically unable.

I was certain there would be a lot more MTB'ers among us! I personally usually carry a G19 with extra mag, anytime I am wearing my hydration pack while riding. Sometimes I will not wear a hydration pack on shorter rides, and do not carry then.
