Do you like the new AZS logo? Would you want it on a shirt/hat/patch/merch?

I have some merch created and have ordered some samples to me to verify the quality before I offer them for sale. They are expected to arrive by June 1st. Will update this thread once I get them.

    New AZS Referral Contest!

https://www.arizonashooting.org/referral-contests/ With the new site out, I've set up a referral contest for all members with site membership prizes for the top 3 referrers. See the above link for details and how to participate. I've tried to make it super-easy and this may be a...

Silencer Central CEO Brandon Maddox Joins Gun Talk Radio to Set the Record Straight on HPA

I think some weasel words were used in their official post ("viable"?) as well as during his Sunday interview. No, they aren't lobbying against the HPA (literally), but the HPA isn't up for a vote. The provisions of most of the HPA are in another reconciliation bill. I think that Silencer...

    Post-migration issues

I am trying to see if I can have it use embedded images for the thumbnail without sacrificing performance or load times. No guarantees. BTW, the pics you take in your ads are always really well done.

    Post-migration issues

I fixed your thread. The quick answer is that the classifieds uses the first attached image to replace the poster's avatar for threads in the classifieds. When you embed all your images instead (ie, imgur), it won't do that.

    Edumacate me about "cookies."

No real practical downside to it; and the site will work better if you accept them. For sites that use significant advertising, the cookie will also hold info on that, so you might get more targeted ads. Might be a plus or a minus. But you see a lot of sites that give you options to accept...

    Edumacate me about "cookies."

At its most basic level, a website cookie is a tiny piece of data - a text file - stored on your device by a website. Cookies help web sites remember information about you, like your login details, language preferences, or items in your shopping cart, so you don’t have to re-enter them every...

Do not edit or delete your ad when it has been sold!

Maybe... but even then, it's an item they SOLD, right, so in that case, having something that shows that you sold it would actually be a good thing if that were the reason. Regardless, like I said above, once something on the internet, it's permanent. Editing their post isn't going to 'erase'...

    Post-migration issues

We have a new REAL feedback system on the new forums now. Feedback thread is there that you can reference, but there was no way to really migrate the "reputation" score from the old site to this one and it was also not based on true feedback - you could simply give someone a reputation point...

Do not edit or delete your ad when it has been sold!

First off, I don't really know why people edit their posts to remove everything. Maybe they think if they just add a "SOLD" to it, that some people will still think it's available and reach out to them? Or do they think it's somehow a privacy thing? (hint: ANYTHING you put on the internet is...

Do not edit or delete your ad when it has been sold!

When you sell an item in the classifieds, just click on the "Sold" button on the top right of your thread. It will mark your item as sold and lock the topic. It will also make you and a person who pasted in your ad eligible to leave feedback for each other linked to the ad. Editing and...

Massive ship with Mexican flags just hit the Brooklyn Bridge

I think they said it was equipment failure and it drifted into it. Not sure how long it took to drift that far. Looks like the tugboat was there before it hit to try to prevent it, but didn't help...
