YAY!!
Got the ammo covered, put in a Grayguns flat trigger and a MCARBO spring kit. Armory Craft extended mag release inbound. She loves the trigger, just a little difficulty pushing the mag release so I think we about got it all worked out.

I tried the G26 for her, and then the G43 and mine defaults to an old SW airweight 38

Maybe it's better she can't hit anything with it, HeHe. My brother says his wife always shoots low, so I told him to remember to jump when she's shooting.Copperhead wrote: ↑March 30th, 2021, 3:47 am She feels the need to carry. Just can't hardly hit anything with the old J frame anymore, not good for +P, 5 shots, and her L frame is too big and heavy for her purse lol.
She understands the advantages of an automatic. Just have to find one with a trigger that feels right to her.

I always pick out the firearms for wifee, after many years and lots of firearms she has finally kept a few that she likes ..... I am "stuck" with all the ones she didn't like.
You know she might just like a Sig P365, never bought one of those for her yet.

Take her to one of the dealers like SGC or C2 and rent a few choices.
Have her shoot them. Then pick from there.
My default is usually a Glock 19 simply because they are damn near dummy proof.
But reading her requirements in your first post, I'd lean towards the Beretta Px4 Storm compact as an option if she likes how it shoots.

Go to AmmoAz and try them all out then rent one. Otherwise buy the one she likes best and keep going until she finds the right one right now. That way you get to shoot tons of stuff in the process and you can sell the ones you don't like or add them to the hardware collection.
