We've got SCOTUS and while it takes longer, it'll keep the Progressives on a short leash.

Problem is, someone has to spend the time, energy, and money to push something up to SCOTUS. That means they have to be ruled against by a lower court, then a court of appeals, then pray SCOTUS has the Cajones to take it on and not just punt it back.
SCOTUS could be profoundly beneficial like Heller, but, there is always a "But" with courts.
