Let people ask whatever they want. The market will judge if its “fair”. Not really our job. A new shooter may be will to pay extra to get it now vs ordering online. Too bad they didn’t or couldn’t buy earlier. Should the seller be penalized for having extra? Maybe they have cash problems of their own and need the money (only reason I would sell during a shortage) It works both ways. I’ve seen new forum members ask if something is still available and the seller passed away months ago. It looks like they’re looking for a deal and trying not to pay the current market price. I don’t blame them. I also wouldn’t expect the seller not to ask market price.

I concur.
Most of us are stocked up with what we use and will wait till prices are reasonable to make any purchases. I'm waiting for the firesale prices from the ones that have been out of work and need cash to pay the bills

Well the only people who are upset seem to be the ones in need of 9mm. Other wise wait till it's cheap again.

At today’s prices 9mm is still decent considering. Sure it’s not .15-17cents a round but at .25cents it’s not terrible if you need it.

That’s still a 50% increase. For 9mm, that’s ridiculous. These douches like Elk34 are WAY worse at $1/shot.

I agree, yes it’s inflated but it is what it is at this time. We all know this situation is hell on ammo prices. The only reason I got some 9mm recently is in been running a little low. Every other caliber I’m well stocked on but I do go through 9 pretty quick.
I guess I’m used to .45 and .762x51 prices so 9 always seems cheap!

I'm not in need of 9mm but I'm still annoyed with asking for a $1/round of 9mm. I reload and always try to keep a decent stock of supplies on hand. I thought this forum is supposed to be a community of like minded people helping each other. I guess I was wrong.

Got a good laugh out of some of the asking prices on ammo. I've been reloading for over 15 years now and have a nice stock pile of ammo. Don't need any and wouldn't pay those prices if I did.

I've been a mechanic all my life. I get a good laugh out of how much a dealership charges for certain services.

And I have spent considerable time working at an actual dealership and know first hand how the pricing structure works. One thing is their price doesn't does not go up over night trying to take advantage of a situation unless of course you have one dishonest advisor trying to pull the wool over some unsuspecting customer.

but hey to each their own. As always do your homework before making a purchase both with ammo or getting your truck fixed.

The 9mm is still $1 per round . I don't want to sell it. But if someone needs it more than me, that's the price.

Then sometimes they are cheaper.
I just purchased a set of tires for my truck at Holmes Tuttle Ford.
With an oil change they were still $400 less than Discount Tire for the exact same tire.

This pretty much sums it up.

Buyers should know what they expect to pay, and if the price isn't in line, move on.

I am cheap usually, but I know what I am willing to spend. If I can't find what I want at that price, I can wait. Unfortunately, not all are in the same position and have to pay a higher price due to not having a surplus.

Also, I agree, just like at election time, prices will most likely go down a little after all this blows over, atleast I hope so.

Happy Monday!

Guys if some of you are newbs here and really don’t have any 9mm just buy from here .20 a round not $1...don’t let idiots and leeches that need attention try and rip you off from the forum..usually everyone here is like a friend but some are here to be dumb...we had a few on the other forum and it seems that a few crawled into this one also.. even if you have to pay tax and shipping..
