Probably my K31. 1937, gorgeous/unissued shaped. Those swiss knew how to build a rifle.
I have owned quite a few over the years, and finally acquired a pristine one, with the bayonet.

A man of my own heart! I own 3 and love them. I also have a K1911. Have you shot one of those yet?paulgt2164 wrote: ↑April 11th, 2020, 7:48 pm Probably my K31. 1937, gorgeous/unissued shaped. Those swiss knew how to build a rifle.

Winchester 94 trapper in 44 mag with a Williams peep sight. Great truck gun and super fun to shoot, plenty accurate out to 100+ yards and the kids love shooting 44 specials thru it

Re: What is Your favorite Rifle?
Very nice! I’ve been thinking of adding better sights or a small scope to mine.
Re: What is Your favorite Rifle?
Overall: Accuracy International AT or AXMC. I owned an AT for awhile but sold it when funds got tight awhile ago. I miss that thing. Accurate, versatile, smoothest action I’ve ever felt, loved the 60* bolt throw, and AI makes the best 2-stage trigger on the market for field use. I’ll have another some day!
Surplus: I’ve always had a thing for the Lee Enfield No4 Mk2. Not entirely sure why, but they look good, they’re relatively accurate, and the action is slicker than snot and super fast. I’d say the Swiss K31 is right up there with it, though. Smooth, fast action, impeccable machine work and finishing, and incredibly accurate.
Semi-Auto: Gotta be the FAL. Lots of good autos out there, but nothing beats a well-made FAL!
Single shot: for an affordable option, the CZ/BRNO Effect FS is drop dead gorgeous. If you have money to burn, the Merkel K3 Stutzen full-stock rifles are unbeatable.
Honorable mention: CZ 550FS. They’re a bit heavy, but boy are they sexy! The single set triggers are nice as well. Had a few, sold them as well. That was a huge mistake, as they’re now discontinued and rising sharply in price!

Re: What is Your favorite Rifle?
it would have to be the Garand the rifle that won the war, or its little cousin the M1 carbine,

Not sure if it would be my favorite but I get a kick shouldering my IWI Timberwolf in 357 mag pump action.

OOOH!,... very nice, I have looked for one in 44 mag for decades!!doubletapp wrote: ↑April 12th, 2020, 12:57 pm Not sure if it would be my favorite but I get a kick shouldering my IWI Timberwolf in 357 mag pump action.
Picked up a like new Remmy 7615 pump in 223/5.56 a few years back, to kinda quiet my jones, for a straight walled caliber pump action rifle,.... but, as nice as it is, I still yearn for a older pump action. from years of research, it seems the Israeli Timberwolf is about the most reliable of all the pump actions produced.
