I'm in the process of putting together a 20" Grendel AR, and have yet to settle in on optics for it.
I'd like to keep it under $500 (not including the mount). I've got Nikon on most of my other longer range stuff, but the Vortex line seems to get good reviews for the price.
Whatcha got?
oops...should have put this in the optics section. please move?

Re: Optics for 6.5 Grendel
Currently have a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 mounted on my 6.5 Grendel AR but still need to zero. I also have a Vortex Viper 4-16x50 HS LR FFP XLR (lots of letters) that is really nice, but that might stay on a different rifle. Overall, I’m happy with the quality/price of the Vortex Viper line.

I ended up going with the 3-18x44 Vortex Strike Eagle. I still have to shoot as well.

I have a Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 5-25x on my Creedmoor AR. I like it so much that I'm going to get a Viper 3-15 for my 5.56 XCR. The Strike Eagle is also a great choice. Great glass on all of them.
