Re: The Army’s SAW and M4 replacements;
55grain fmj was vietnam time, replaced long time ago with 62grain bullets.
Re: The Army’s SAW and M4 replacements;
That's what I thought.
Re: The Army’s SAW and M4 replacements;
The 62 grain that likes to tumble. Shooting 855 at 100 yards I have seen them keyhole targets. 62 grain lead core I never had the problem with. Heard a lot of talk about how the 855 ball was not accurate either.
Re: The Army’s SAW and M4 replacements;
Well in my opinion if it hits a person straight on they are going to have a bad day. If it hits them while its tumbling they are in for quite an adventure.

What barrel twist were you shooting. The original 1-12 WON'T stabilize the 62 grainers causing them to tumble.

This is a open fourm. You don't dictate who can talk and who cannot. You need to stop trying to control people and their opinions.

You are free to post all you want, never said you couldn't. Just like I am free to point out the irrelevancy of what you post.
It's an open forum after all.

Your right and I can always follow you up and discuss how your opinion is just that.
