LaPierre Refuses to Step Down After NRA Board Members Ask for His Resignation

According to someone we’ve spoken to who’s in a position to know, NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre met with influential board members and fund-raisers last night and was asked for his resignation. The meeting reportedly became heated and LaPierre stormed out. He then responded to the demand with a scathing letter to those involved, refusing to step down.
No attribution, just an unnamed source. I would like to know how many members asked for his resignation. Two? Twenty?

What a pleasure to see the two former co-conspirators squabbling.
I am dying to see what dirt Ackerman-McQueen dumps on LaPierre.

Neither do I. If they aren't man enough to sign their name to it, something's wrong.

Just wonder.... If all gun control was lifted, how would the heads of the NRA keep their high paying jobs? Job security for them would be to have some level of gun control..... JMHO

EXCELLENT point,... reminds me of the half century plus Government War on Poverty,... and the 100 plus year old mission by the American Cancer Society.

Too many people, making too much money, from too many causes,... imo.

Just a little FYI,...

Business Insider was launched in February 2009 and is based in New York City. Founded by DoubleClick's former CEO Kevin P. Ryan, Dwight Merriman, and Henry Blodget, the publication is a brand of Silicon Alley Insider (began May 16, 2007) and Clusterstock (started March 20, 2008). Kevin Ryan is a progressive and contributor to the Democratic Party.

According to Media Bias/Fact Check, regarding Business Insider,

They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor liberal causes.

Henry Blodget (born 1966) is an American businessman, investor and journalist.

He is a former equity research analyst who was senior Internet analyst for CIBC Oppenheimer and the head of the global Internet research team at Merrill Lynch during the dot-com era.[1] Due to his violations of securities laws and subsequent civil trial conviction, Blodget is permanently banned from involvement in the securities industry.[2] Blodget is the CEO of Business Insider.

I think most can read an article, spotting the loaded words and understand what side the report is coming from. I would rather get more info (from the adversary side) and vett the pieces separately than get a gaslit version (from the pro side)
Kind of like asking a girl's mother about her, ...or asking her ex boyfriend.

here's a happy link...
