Question about lower to SBR

#1

Post by drjdog5150 »

So I am getting ready to SBR an AR lower, however I have been going back and forth on this.

Do I use one of my more expensive lowers say an LWRC, LMT etc, or a cheaper one like Aero, PSA etc?

I keep going back and forth and can't decide yet, so wanted to get some opinions from you all.

Thanks,
Jason

SBR whichever lower you like the best. It doesn't really matter.

I have SBR'd Knights, LMT, Aero, Anderson....they all do the same thing.

I suppose I'd sbr the lessor known brand in the event I needed to sell off other firearms, the more expensive ones would make more money.

+1 to this. Pick your favorite and making an SBR will make you like it even more. If losing a couple dollars of residual resale value on a used AR lower is a significant financial consideration, then you probably should be having 2nd thoughts about the $200 tax stamp too.
