Glock frame compatibility through the generations

Was wondering if glock gen 3 frame would still be compatible with a gen 4 slide? I know most parts are compatible between majority of the generations exempting gen 5 and slim frame guns, the situation I have before me is that I have a glock 24c gen 3 with a 9mm conversion barrel from kkm i have an opportunity to buy a fairly cheap high quality slide but it’s a gen 4 aftermarket slide and it doesn’t mention anything about being compatible with any other gens and most ads I see normally say so. I also was curious if switching from a 24c slide to a 17l slide would the kkm barrel still be able to run through the 17l slide, I know the tolerances are a bit tighter than a factory barrel on the channel the barrel slides through, maybe a few millimeters of clearance so not much wiggle room. I figured since it’s a conversion barrel specifically for the 24c in 40sw it’ll just be too wide to fit through the barrel channel of a 9mm slide but you never know maybe I’ll get lucky haha!

I would ask the slide manufacturer!
