Just curious how many people are still preferring plain cast vs. the new poly-coated cast projectiles vs. copper-clad vs. true jacketed.
Whom do you normally buy your projectiles from, and why?

From my perspective the answer is: "It Depends"...
Given that you say "bulk reload" I'm going to assume that you are talking about plinking / target rounds. I've used poly-coated lead, copper clad, and copper jacketed (FMJ) for this purpose - but generally whatever I can find that is on the cheaper end of the spectrum and from a manufacturer that I can verify has a "decent or better" reputation for consistency. The last batch that I bought were poly coated - so that's what I selected. I bought them a while ago because I could not get more of the Berrys that I had used the last couple of times.

RMR for my projectiles except for 220 gr 308 for BLK. Typically Berry's plated for those and I shop each time

My understanding is that the poly-coated cast projectiles deposit even less material inside of suppressors than either copper-clad or true jacketed. And so far, my own experience bears this out. What about you other suppressor users?

I use poly coated but also make sure the bullet has a bevel base for easier seating.

Mostly jacketed but likely switching back to plated for the pistols soon.

I've run plated for cost or availability reasons but I prefer jacketed. I just find jacketed are easier to work with, more consistent weights, require less belling of the brass, tend to fit better in all of my guns (some coated bullets seem to have a steeper ogive, requiring deeper seating for some chambers).
A couple years ago when projectiles were unobtainium, I picked up some Blue Bullets. They were OK but as soon as Precision Delta was back in stock, I haven't ordered plated since.

I use bullets from rmr or American reloading. I only load jhp for my pistols. 124/147vr. Rmr has their line of nukes that cost great and shoot amazing out of my pistols. From American reloading I buy the sig v-crown and hst

American has great prices on pulls. Great for volume dirt shooting.

Another "it depends" vote. Is it something I cast myself or bulk purchased from MBC? If it runs thru my Star luber/sizer, it's cast. If I shoot it as cast, probably coated with liquid ALOX. Have yet to try that new fangled powdered stuff, but it looks interesting. Especially after getting reports of how it keeps our cans clean.

Since I only have AR's plus 1 AIAW and 1 PSS left in my collection I only use Sierra or Hornady jacketed bullets.

reload with coated or cast, do have a gaggle of factory ammo, but rarely shoot it, pretty sure anyone shot with cast, coated or otherwise, never says, "'aw gee wished i'd been shot with a hornady, or txp, kissa my asse bullet, yah think

RMR or Berrys when just playing around. Jacketed FP if accuracy is a must/match ammo.
