Glock 48
So what is everyone's thought about the new glock 48. I personally am curious about it. It might fill a small niche in my collection even though I am not a glock fan.

Re: Glock 48
My opinion is that I'd rather have a G19 with the added capacity instead of the G48. I don't see that the slimmer G48 is much of an advantage to me for concealed carry use.
The only thing is, I could see a G48 in my future, for one particular purpose. My wife struggles a but with the wide grip of the G19 which she uses as a bedside gun and the G48 would help in that regard albeit at a loss of 5 rounds.

Re: Glock 48
I like it, it's basically a striker fired Sig P225. Great summer concealment gun.
Re: Glock 48
My thoughts as well. This is what I wanted Glock to produce back with the 43 came out.
Re: Glock 48
Major plus that it is actually thin enough to get one's hand around without being named Mongo.
Still has the goofy Glock grip angle and squshy trigger.

Re: Glock 48
Went and handled both the G48 and G43x today. I liked both of them and one of them will eventually replace my G26 I carry every day. The guns feel much better in the hand than the G43 not just because they are longer but they do feel a little thicker in the hand. Other than that they are Glocks and will work like a Glock. Only thing I would like better would be a black slide.

Re: Glock 48
Id trust anything Glock but for me a slimmer frame with less capacity is not what I need.

Re: Glock 48
I haven't kept up on the new Glock offerings, but my daily carry used to be a Glock 19, and a few years ago, I moved to a Glock 43, which I like better. Ideally, I'd go with something that has the same grip size, profile and width as the Glock 43, but a longer slide. Seems like that's the ONLY new 'version' they didn't make - lol.

Buy G48 and put that slide onto your G43.admin wrote: ↑January 29th, 2019, 3:55 pm I haven't kept up on the new Glock offerings, but my daily carry used to be a Glock 19, and a few years ago, I moved to a Glock 43, which I like better. Re: Glock 48
I just got one today. I like the feel and ergonomics better than the double stacks. I am going to run 2 to 3 hundred rounds thru it on Tuesday (2/13/2019). I will put up a review on Tuesday evening. Cost was $413.00 out the door at Chambered USA (Jay).

Re: Glock 48
This 48 is the 43 with an extended barrel (4.1" I believe).
