What sex on the 4473?

The latest shooting got me thinking, what sex was on the form she filled out for the purchase of the firearms? It's a federal form, and at least one SCOTUS member can't define a woman, so, where do you go with that? Can I add a sex or gender on the form? Is any answer acceptable??

Have a great, gun carryin', Kenpo day

For her/him??, to have followed the law and for the FFL to comply with the instructions/Regs on the 4473/Regs, she/he would have to have filled in Question 14: Sex-Male, Female, Non-Binary as identified on her/his ID.

Per the 4473 instructions:
Question 14. Sex: Individuals with neither male nor female on their identification document(s) should check Non-Binary.
