Re: Hammer Mechanic "Gunsmith"
in my milsurp collection stage of my stuff, i saw some atrocious destruction of some bootiful gats, i was always amazed at the attempt to justify the stupidity of why, when and how. It was at that time i finally understood, there is a special kind of stupid.
and am so thankful i will never be pigeon holed with those that are.

Guilty.
I borrowed a friends rifle, scope mounting bolts kept loosening.
So I decided to locktite them babies in there.
Red locktite turns out is for life!
He snapped them while trying to remove the screws.
I got to buy him some new mounts for it.
Expensive lesson for this Bubbasmither

Actually you can get the red coated fasteners off by applying a soldering iron directly to the screw head. Once it gets hot enough they'll give way.OH-MAN wrote: ↑August 31st, 2021, 5:22 pm Guilty.
