ZM Weapons LR-300?

I'm interested in a rifle that's a bit... different. ZM was purchased by Para Ord several years ago and they eventually dropped their rifle line to focus exclusively on handguns, so I don't think these have been made in quite some time.

Anyone have one?

I had one years ago. Thought it was a good idea and shot well for me. Just too much extra cost for what it was. If Para had got the price down a little, I think it would have sold.It is like alot of the miriad of piston guns that came out, all with proprietary parts.

I think the Rock River Arms PDS uses a similar system.

I have one. It is an interesting concept, but the cost to the value is upside down. Al Zitta designed and produced the initial release rifles and sold a few to the Saudi's. Para tried to sell and market, but could never get the cost down to a point that was marketable.

My buddy and I bought these several years ago. Mine had the quad rail and his had the other handguard they offered. Like the rifle. Don't shoot it as much as should. The quad rail and stock make it a little on the heavy side but never any problems with my limited use.
