Where are all the bolt actions?

I understand the semi autos being hens teeth but when a guy can’t find a budget 223 Bolt rifle it’s gotten real shitty.

I didn't check the calibers but when I was last in Sportsman's off Yorkshire they had a ton of bolt guns - most were pricey, however they did have some of the less expensive Howas(which are great) and Brownings for less than 600.

They also had a few ARs / AKs / and Mini-14/30s. I bought a Ruger PC Carbine whiles I was there.

Some of the wave of new gun owners want to be snipers. Just like they were in Call of Duty.

But yeah I noticed that the prices have gone way up.

A friend of mine was had tables at the Queen Creek Gun show and said all people wanted to buy were bolt action rifles and shot gun because of fear of possible legislation that might lead to confiscation of semi auto rifles.

If they round up all the semi-autos, there will be a shooting or series of shootings with scoped rifles referred to as "sniper rifles". They'll for sure come after those too.

They're looking at how other countries handle firearms and assume hunting arms will be fine if semi-auto "battle rifles" are banned/limited.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. For the Dems that's a logical next step after the ban sales of on line ammo and reloading supplies.
