This was a Judge's jury instructions error, nothing else. Time of possession is apparently and affirmative defense to the possession of stolen property crime. The judge didnt tell the jury that and the rules so they could consider that. It would have been up to the jury to decide. Like it or not it's how the system works and it works both ways. In the case where a woman was convicted of ADW for brandishing a gun the conviction was thrown out because the judge gave faulty instructions. People v. Siwatu-Salama, 2019 Mich. The first person to say I'm pro illegal or some other BS for stating a simple fact should self fornicate cause I think no such thing. You're always a closet lib or open border globalist if you dont want to execute illegals who get off. This guy should spend a few decades inside for all his crimes. This ruling doesnt change that.
