WalMart manager okays employee BLM masks

Unreal. Picking up a few things at Walmart, Greenfield and 60, and a black female worker is wearing a 'Black Lives Matter' facemask. When I talked to the manager about it, he made every indication it was okay, as long as there was no offensive matter on it. I told him it offended ME, and then I asked who gets to make the judgement of offensive? No direct answer, just the corporate textbook reply.

Really? We have to put up with this shit while we're out shopping now, too? GTFOut of here. :evil:

I honestly don't know what is so complicated. Work is for working. Not making statements regardless of the position or topic. Its my humble opinion that ALL of the "not work stuff" needs to stay outside of work.

Having spent years managing groups of people it was enough to keep them from killing each other or annoying the Sh*t out of me on regular old work stuff. Dont need any other distractions or reasons to bicker.

Bad policy by Walmart or any other company to allow "Statement" pieces and that goes triple if the business and its employees work with the public. No matter which position you take with your statement clothing or ??? it will offend someone.

Walmart especially since it has a uniform of sorts and uniforms are specifically made to
1. identify employees
2. Foster conformity across the brand

Holliday .... it would have pissed me off too! I am up to my eyeballs with political sh*t. If I am going to walmart to get some drawers I would like for 10 minutes not to be bombarded with political messaging.
