How much does anyone want to bet, there will be lawsuits filed against the PD and against her. I am sure the ACLU is already looking at this and preparing their legal people too.
Her situational awareness and calm under pressure is insane. She rounded the vehicle assessed the potential for collateral damage and maintained the weapon trained on him the entire time. It looked like she was trying to corral him to get a safer shot. Might have ended sooner if she didn't have to worry about them looky loos constantly walking behind her target. Was it one and done? I couldn't tell from the video. It looked like one shot.
She did the right thing. Gave him plenty of time to drop the knife, and lead him away from the by standers before firing her weapon. I guess Mr. Badazz never heard that you don't take a knife to a gun fight.
