Guilty or Not Guilty?

I say the verdict is Guilty, and the judge, defying all precedent, will have Trump cuffed and jailed immediately.

Biden will give a speech within five minutes of the verdict announcement, saying "See? I told you he was a criminal! You can't vote for a Convicted Felon, because Muh Democracy!"

How say you?

With the constant "decisions and rulings" made by the "unbiased" judge, I am afraid I agree with most of your post.

There really was no justice for the defense in this fiasco. Whether you like Trump or not, if it were you that were treated that way, you would be FUMING.

So,...now that they will attempt to prevent the candidate from being on the ballot,...who will fire the first shots?

Excerpt --
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animated contest of freedom, go home from us. We ask not your council of arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”
---Samuel Adams 1 August 1776

New bet:
When Alzheimer's Boy gives his speech, how many times will he say "Convicted felon"?
I say 173.

I don’t get why Trump got convicted. He had such a long and distinguished list of defense witnesses who took the stand on his behalf. There was that guy and the other guy. What time is the bloodbath?

The judge did not allow the defense's expert witness on election law, who would have testified that there have been previous cases of hush money to women (e.g., Clinton, John Edwards) which were very definitively not campaign expenditures, because if there is any other possible reason (like avoiding embarrassment for yourself or your family), then it is not an election law violation. The judge said that that witness was not relevant.
On the other hand, Stormy Daniels' testimony about Trump's underwear and whether he wore a condom was definitely relevant to the bookkeeping practices of the Trump Organization.

I'm thinking that at the first opportunity to do so, Trump's team will file a special appeal directly to the SCOTUS, citing the special exigent circumstances requiring them to intervene now to prevent the intended political interference. Just head this all off at the pass.

But then,...why haven't they done so already?

Popcorn is cooking. Who has watched the crazy movie Civil War? I call it crazy because the west of the U S. has Texas and commiefornia acting as one group. Good movie though.
My buddy's wife said that she watched it and wanted to load all mags in the house. Good wife I told him.

Interesting observation from a friend;...

Oh the irony. Trump has been sued over 4000 times for not paying contractors and today he’s a felon for finally paying one.

Unsavory twist --
Biden pardons Trump. Takes high ground. Voters...???

W. T. F......cue "Merry-go-round broke down..."

These are state charges, so Biden can’t pardon him. You suggest an interesting scenario, otherwise.
