Interesting info from the Utah DPS.

Who is Eligible?

*Minimum requirements for application for a concealed firearms permit in Utah are:
Applicant must be at least 21 years of age for the standard permit; at least 18 years of age for the provisional permit

Proof of good character…whereas the applicant;
has not been convicted of a felony;
has not been convicted of any crime of violence;
has not been convicted of any offense involving the use of alcohol;
has not been convicted of any offenses involving the unlawful use of narcotics or other controlled substances;
has not been convicted of any offenses involving moral turpitude;
has not been convicted of any offense involving domestic violence;
has not been adjudicated by a court of a state or of the United States as mentally incompetent, unless the adjudication has been withdrawn or reversed

is qualified to purchase and possess a firearm pursuant to Section 76-10-503 and federal law

*A criminal background check is conducted for all applicants.

The permit also allows an individual to carry a firearm into public schools.

Houses of Worship Prohibiting Firearms on Premises

The following churches have notified BCI of their intent to prohibit firearms in their “houses of worship” in Utah.

Wasatch Presbyterian Church
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints made public notice on January 9, 2019 in the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News of their intent to prohibit firearms.

Wow, that covers a LOT of churches in Utah...and they've just announced they're a Gun Free Zone... :shock:

I'm sure god will save them :lol:
 
That'll work until the 1st Church shooting. After that, they'll all be armed.
