Unofficial AZS monthly Pew Meet-Up

From a previous post “how often do you train” it seems a few get their reps in often and others could use a good excuse to get out there and disrespect their ammo stash.

With weather getting better I figured it might be a better opportunity to get out there and pew.

I noticed PRGC has several bbqs ready and waiting to be used. They even have some good seating.

Anyone interested in a little get together?

Board member blasternaz runs an "unmatch" (stages set up, but no scorekeeping) third Saturday night every month, at Ben Avery. People bring food, often to share, and there are grills there on site if you want to cook burgers or hot dogs or something. I think the Ben Avery range fee is 15 bucks or something.

Rather than start a whole new thing, those who are interested in a board get-together could go to that unmatch, and identify ourselves with name tags or something, and piggyback onto what blasternaz already has set up.

And you'll get lots of "yea, I'm coming", and then no shows. People here aren't as honest in their posts as they would seem. We turned out almost 20 folks for a shoot a couple of months back, all just friends on Book Of Faces. Here, you're lucky to get more than half a dozen to show. I would love to get together for a shoot, or anything really, where people can put their real name and face to a moniker on here. I piss off a lot of folks, but not one has even bothered to confront me in a civil way outside of their binary code on here. How sad that we have so many anonypussies.

I'll probably bring the hot chocolate machine again. Sounds like a great idea. My notices get lots of views but very few attendees from the list. Wish I could change that, but it's on you to attend. I'm just the provider.
