Her husband was texting her from Afghanistan today. His whole patrol are still there. They were just left. They are working on a plan to sneak out. I won’t share details in an open forum.

I know that not everything is fake news, but listen to the crap that the Pentagon has been spewing for the past couple of weeks. I am in no position to vet that information, but I'm skeptical of any absolutes they assert based on their recent track record.

I wouldn't doubt it. Another Army guy and I got left on top of a burning hill while fighting a forest fire in Fort Hunter Liggett around 1969. Freaked out the Firefighters when we walked off the hill around 2AM or so and into their camp.

Your squad leader is supposed to know where each of his men is, the platoon sargent and platoon Leader are supposed to know where each squad is, and so on up the chain.

Someone obviously screwed up pretty bad if this is true.

The point is, is that making a post that is cryptic and then saying opsec so no proof, goes much in line with the mentality of this board who like to run around with their heads off and take politics way too seriously. I've actually seen him being genuinely helpful and charitable before, but most of the time I see a contrarian that can't hold back criticism toward others while at the same time being ultra-sensitive to criticism himself. Sorry, AZ1182... Just my observation.

Most people are not pathological liars, and our government has a steady track record of dishonesty, so when I hear a story like this, it oftentimes sounds plausible to me.
