Hodgdon Announces Closure of GOEX Facility

https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2021/09/28/hodgdon-announces-closure-goex-facility/

More bad news. Black powder is going to get significantly harder to get and more expensive it looks like.

Looks to be sold out already, including the European stuff.

UPDATE:

Estes Energetics,...the people who make the model rocket motors (which are powered by black powder) has bought GOEX, and has announced they shall continue production of sporting black powder. Availability of new production sporting black powder will occur in 1st quarter of 2023.

Estes Energetics just resumed shipping of GOEX black powder last month. About 6 months later than they intended. But at least it is out there, finally.
