Looks like Texas is trying hard to be the best Pro 2A state in the US.
Constitutional carry is moving forward.
Better castle doctrine and stand your ground than Az.

They just need to put a limit on the California immigration problem; maybe build a wall...

ATF won't let that stand. AZ has a similar law for firearms and firearm accessories, passed 10 years ago...so where are all the firearms made in AZ that people bought without doing a 4473?

Kansas tried it also...a few people are in federal prison because of it.

Go back and read your Constitution where it explains that when 3/4 of states pass the same law/amendment is becomes a Constitutional amendment. The state legislatures can fix the problem of the ATF without Congress.

Not exactly how it works, but I'll play along. Please list for me the 38 states that have passed such a law.

I didn't say 38 had passed it yet, but the ball is rolling in the right direction.
It is possible that there are enough states to undo the NFA scam.

That's not exactly how an Amendment comes to be....if that were the case, "murder is illegal" would be in the Constitution.

To propose a new amendment, two-thirds of both houses of Congress must vote to propose an amendment, or two-thirds of the state legislatures can ask Congress to call a national convention to propose amendments. To ratify amendments, three-fourths of the state legislatures must approve them, or ratifying conventions in three-fourths of the states must approve them.

So, a handful of states isn't going to do it. The Hearing Protection Act couldn't be passed...it didn't even make it out of committee, and that was in a time when Republicans had nearly all the control.
