$50 per day? Dayum, need to start a new side job!
Well, it does say "unlimited shooting". I suppose the $50 goes to help defray facilities cost as well as weed out us Poors. :)

If you can't afford $50, you can't afford a suppressor.

It's not about being able to afford $50, it's about being willing to spend $50 on a silencer shoot, which is rarely worth it. They are usually a waste of time and there's so many guns going off at the same time that you really can't get a good feel for sound comparisons. Plus, there are always jackasses that have to fire off some unsuppressed guns, so going naked ears to hear the cans is at your own risk.

Just curious. Since I never go to gun ranges.
You go to a gun range where people are shooting guns.
You bring a suppressed gun and wear no ear protection.
Another person at the range where you shoot guns. Shoots his wearing ear protection without a suppressor. Now he is the jackass ?

Most of these events, you spend more time in line waiting to shoot than you do actually shooting. They usually have limits then back to the line or into the next line for a different new shiny.

If you like looking at vendor offerings and talking to real vendor reps about function availability, show special pricing, etc. with a little bit of shooting on the side, they are worth it.

OOps forgot to mention, if you know someone from a vendor you can skip the entrance fee and get a special wrist band. Problem is the special band typically doesn't allow the free shooting sponsored by other vendors.
