I'm nearly sure massive stockpiling for the Hillary loss, and not getting the military contract didn't help either.

There were attempts at these things in the past. I remember one that required the shooter to wear a ring to activate the gun. The market decided it didn’t want such nonsense. I doubt any company is putting any serious research into that nonsense.

One of the most pathetic red herrings that the left likes to push. Try to pass laws that will be impossible to implement in the real world, as a way to push more gun control. The azzholes that try to peddle this bull all need to be forced to eat a metric ton of dog sh!t.

I keep seeing these snake oil salesman at SHOT each year, with some stupid version of a "smart gun". They all take batteries, require recharging, etc....oh, and they don't work half the time. I had a guy give me a demo of his product, the type where the shooter wears a ring on their finger...7/10 tries it didn't recognize the ring. I pointed out that means 70% of the time you are dead...they didn't appreciate that insight.
