Decided to drop by here on the off chance they might have the rifle I'm looking for. They do, but the line of people waiting to get to the counter is about 30 deep.

Should have expected something like that, but didn't really. Especially on a Monday.

Hopefully it's still available by the time I get to the front of the line.

Well that didn't work out. Was about a 3 hour wait, and I can't do that on a weekday.

Numbers. I had 79, they were serving 48 when I pulled it, and an hour later they were serving 54.

Oof, I was hoping to swing by there and check things out but sounds like I might wanna wait till things cool off a bit.

I stopped by bass pro and was surprised how busy they were.

Buy online? Bought a glock 19 online and had it shipped to an FFL in the valley, was striking out trying to find one local.

I find the slight differences between the different panics to be fascinating. Post sandy hook, you couldn't find a black rifle anywhere. Now there are black rifles in stock but you can't find a security shotgun anywhere. I'm assuming it has to do with the number of new gun owners buying up shotguns on account of the riots.

I've also had pretty good luck with Bass Pro Shop for 5.56. They had 150 round packs of range ammo for .50 cents a round.

If it shows in stock you can buy it online and pick it up at the store with less waiting, I was at the store here last week with the same thing at the gun counter and they had a sign saying if you're there to pick up an online order to stand at the end of the counter for faster service.

When I looked before, they showed out of stock. But now it looks like I can buy it online and pick it up next week. Thanks!
