With my son finishing his 3 year bit in the Army, I decided to put in for a few different hunts this time around. He loves to hunt so I put in for Deer in the 6A area, turkey in the 6A area and Sandhill crane down yonder in whateverthehell it was (Only a few areas down there). What does everyone use for turkey? Im guessing Fiochi Golden phesant #4 will work for that. What do you use for Sandhill crane? Those things can hit 5' tall with a 7' wingspan (Largest Im guessing). I didnt realize people actually put goggles on their dogs for fear a not quite dead crane can peck a dogs eyeball out (A few youtube videos out there showing this).
So what draws did you put in for? And an ammo question.

Put in for coues deer in 36c Oct and 3c turkey. Was actually in 3c last fall during turkey season scouting for elk when a nice set of bird crossed the road in front of us and just started feeding 30 yards away without a care in the world. So with that vision in mind put in for turkey last minute
