So this asshole is so afraid of a 13 year old with autism that he fires 11 rounds at him after his idiot mother asks police to help get him to the hospital. I guess they did get him to the hospital in the end but seriously whatthefuck is wrong with cops these days?

Why did the police shoot? There was nothing threatening going on other than a late night run.

Why did they shine their flashlights at the kid's feet? No one could see what the kid was doing. What the heck?!?!

I can't see the video well enough to tell what exactly happened, so I'm not going to try to make excuses or Monday morning quarterback it, but at some point cops just have to stop going to these calls. No crime, no one else in danger? Have a nice night. You want him to go to the hospital? Fine, you gather a few friends and hog tie him and drag him in.

The cops don't want to and generally aren't equipped to deal with it. The communities have to get tired of paying out 7 and 8 figure settlements to people that called the cops out to a situation they never should have been called to deal with. Now we have a woman who will be hood rich off tax dollars from others who can't afford it, at least one cop whose career, and maybe freedom, is over, and the situation with the kid will be the same or worse the minute he walks out of the hospital.

Huh, as a retired LEO that taught firearm is including UoF, I saw nothing in that video to justify the use of deadly force.
Granted, the video wasn’t that clear, but I think that cop overreacted 11 times too many.
That is one of those times that maybe a social worker would have been a better choice than LEO, but of course it never fails people can’t or won’t deal with their own or their families troubles so it all ends up with a 911 call to the detriment of everyone involved.
