SIZE MATTERS

This would have been a productive video if he bothered to test the only ammo that the longer barrel makes any difference in.

Heavy 230 grain pills were never gonna go much faster. With the powders commonly used, 95% of that propellant has burned up in the standard 5 inch barrel. But the lighter 185 grain stuff is another story entirely.

I used to have an AMT Hardballer long slide back in the day. My carry load both in the standard gov't model 5 inch barrel and in the AMT was 10.2 grains of Blue Dot under a Remington 185 grn. JHP, producing 1075fps in the gov't model and 1180 in the Hardballer. THEN you see a difference.

Im saying the wheels are constantly turning in that guy’s head.
My takeaway, don’t buy REM. 230gr. HP
