Like her or hate her, Sinema and Senator Joe Manchin are the only two preventing the democraps from enacting their idiotic legislation. The House of Representatives, the Senate, and the White House are all controlled by the democraps and could, with the help of Sinema and Manchin, ram through any legislation they want. On the Republican side there is always the worry that Romney, Collins, or Murkowski will side with the dems.

Sinema is very interesting.

She really seems to want to represent her constuents, not be a party bobble head.

Maybe. Or maybe she's doing what's best for her career at the moment. Time will tell.

Hits the nail on the head.

She still supports the voting bill and the vax mandate bill. That should tell the story.

She is NOT the conservatives friend. She's doing just EXACTLY what she thinks will get her re-elected, and that's ALL she gives a shit about! [And that's what has her worried right now]!! She couldn't give 2 shits about what any of us think.

It's pleasantly surprising when a lib does these things.

But I believe you shouldn't trust any politician.

She’s been more conservative than either Flake or McCain ever was. She helped kill broke back better, kept the filibuster, and killed the $15 min wage in a nice dramatic fashion.

I do not understand the democrat mindset. Killing the filibuster would likely bite them when they no longer have the majority.

True, on several things she has been more conservative that Flake ever was. But never forget her political history. She started out as a member of the Green Party which is really little more than a noisy offshoot of the Democrat / Communist Party. She realized she wasn't winning elections so rebranding as a Democrat (same agenda, not as vitriolic until the Jihad Squad came along) she started to win.

She's young, somewhat easy on the eyes, and smart. Unlike sonderkommando Chuck Schumer, who seems to be consumed with his condescending arrogance, she knows the Democrat Party is in trouble. Things aren't looking good for them and, barring any dumbass moves on the part of the Republicans, as long as Dopey Joe stays the course, it will be a bloodbath in November. She is simply biding her time. They don't have the numbers in the Senate and she wants to stay in office so she is biding her time.

Manchin is different. He knows that anything the Democrats put out under Broke Back America will kill the coal mining industry in WV. WV is 2nd only to WY in terms of coal production. Coal represents a significant portion of WV's economy.

The Democrats aren't done yet. They are working overtime at all levels to either get this in or have the mechanisms in place that it won't be needed.

yip, as long as she keeps doing the job shes doing now, i'll ride along and see what goes, but, as we all know they all fall down, some harder than others.

Whose bright idea was it to say "You know, Sinema is not on board with us. How about if we harass her when she goes to the bathroom, and repeatedly call her a racist? She's sure to change her mind then, right?"

They're eating their own now.

Democratic Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema has been formally censured by the Arizona Democratic Party’s (ADP) executive committee for her decisions regarding filibuster and voting rights reforms, ABC News reported.
