I bought one from Bass Pro to put on my wife's deer rifle. When I downloaded the app and linked it to the scope I had no problems but when I linked it to the range finder it said the range finder needed an update. It allowed me to update once, then said it needed a second update, loaded 3% and locked up. The range finder would not even turn on after that.
After doing some research on the web I discovered that this happens sometimes and not just the first time you set it up, there have been several people that have used their scope/range finder for awhile then it needed an update and locked up.
I took it back to Bass Pro and they gave me a full refund, no problem.
