Working on getting my wife around to the idea of moving everything to Arizona.

She does not like Sonoran summer heat, loved Sedona when we visited there.

Cost aside, is Sedona a bad place for a 2A shooting nut?

edit: Read about the goofy city ordinance lawsuit Hippies, figures.

Join AZCDL, they are suing Sedona and Pima county for violating Arizona firearms law.

THEN VOTE RED. Every democrat has brought new bills and voted for California style gun control; every republican voted against the draconian firearms laws.

and traffic sucks, i mean really sucks, trying getting thru down town or finding a joint to have dinna, and then theres the no gun signs everywhere.

Thanks. Did you know you could become a life member and get credit for all of your annual dues. That way you can just contribute and there is no processing cost on the other side.

Getting back to the subject at hand, if you want to live up in that general area, choosing Cottonwood or Cornville would be better places than with the pretentious libtards residing in Sedona.

I don't know what your wife wants (Costco, restaurants, etc) but I would suggest riding around and checking out the small towns in that area.

A lessening of summer heat from Tucson if we move the whole household.

Oro Valley was a bitch this summer. not used to having to stay indoors all day.
She is used to mid 80's every day, an ocean view, etc.. Sedona has views that might supplant ocean.

Told her all the cold weather crap she refuses to give up will be of use. Costco no an issue that we cold not drive to.

I want access to the VA in Prescott. She did not like Prescott as too cold for too long in winter.

Typical broad, wants a Goldilocks temperature zone all year.

Stayed there one time during spring break we did not suspect. Yeah, gridlock.

We get that here in Kona sometimes, so we learned when to avoid being out and about.

CCW so do not bide by signs. Figure they must mean open carry.

Found out after buying in Oro Valley that it is dominated by Tucson and the libtards embedded there. I gather they periodically try some stuff to bolster their anti-2A credentials.

Have her check out Verde Valley. It's not as upper crust as Sedona. In fact, it's a working class retirement town. But it exists in that Goldilocks temp zone you mentioned. Does get some snow, but never heavy and not for long. Cooler than Phoenix or Tucson, but not as cool as Sedona or Prescott. The Verde River runs all year, so there is always a recreation opportunity there.

Or cottonwood. Cheaper than sedona. I'm a fan of prescott since sedona still sees triple digits. Big cost to move for 10 degrees.
