Sad news for fans of good BBQ

Hap's BBQ, one of the valley's best for many, many years, is fixin' to close in mid July. Owner (daughter of original owner) doesn't have a family member old enough to take over, and she is "retiring" to spend time with her 5 kids. So, if you want a taste of some of the best "Q" in the state, hit the 48th Street and Washington location soon.

Been smackin' my lips over Hap's, for over 30 years. Gonna miss it....

was in the joint, afternoon today in fact, having a confab with some folks, didn't partake in the absolutely awesome eats, but did have a cool drink, sorry to hear, been theer a long time,
