Redhawks are tough to do a trigger job on because there is a single spring that powers the hammer and it also powers the trigger. So if you lighten the trigger pull with lighter springs (typical) then you are making the hammer fall softer and you get light hits on the primers and the gun wont fire. I typically clean up the internals and then try a few different spring weights and if I have light hits and put in the next higher weight. Smooth and heavy is better then lighter and possible misfire. If you reload you can also change your brand of primers to one that s more sensitive so you don't get light hits.
