Has anyone heard any intel on where (and when) Ruger will build the Marlin line? I had heard that they will bring the production to Prescott but that doesn't make sense since they've only built pistols here in Arizona. It would seem to make more sense that they would keep the Marlin production somewhere back east.

This says 2nd 1/2 2021... But not as to where...

Have they said they aren't going to use existing Marlin facilities?

I doubt they could build them where they were last built because that was at the Remington plants in New York and Kentucky. Marlin had been moved from their original location in Connecticut by Remington years ago. Ruger wouldn't need the huge Remington facilities for the production nor would they have access to it the plants since they only bought the tooling, machines, intellectual property, trademarks, etc.

Likely Ruger will build them in Ruger's Connecticut location or their newer plant in North Carolina. Unless the rumor I heard was true that they are going to use Ruger's Prescott location--its just that doesn't make as much sense.
